The College Magazine “JNANADA” is the medium of developing literary and other potentialities of the students. It publishes articles and creative write-up contributed by students, teachers and legal experts and reviews of educational, cultural, social and sports activities of the college. The Magazine is published annually and is edited by a student under the supervision of an Editorial Board headed by a Professor I/C.
The college published a Research Journal named “JNANDEEP” where research articles written by the Retd. Judges, Advocates and Law teachers of universities and different law colleges.
The college has three Wall Magazines brought out by students of LL.M. 3 yr. LL.B. and 5 yr. B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) and an e-magazine “JNANMARG” to publish the creative writing of the students periodically.
With the purpose of offering humanitarian service to the society, the J.B. Law College students’ Union has formed a voluntary Blood Donation Group namely “JBLC Blood Donor’s Forum” comprising JBians. Under this scheme the student volunteers keep themselves ready to donate blood, whenever need arises. However, blood is provided only if recipient fulfills the required conditions formulated by the J.B. Law College Students’ Union. The entire scheme was a great success offered by the JBians.
Student Travelling ConceSSion
Students are entitled to Travel Concession on their way to home from the Institution and back during vacation only. Air concession is also allowed.
Scholarships are available to the students belonging to SC/ST/OBC/MOBC and minorities which are paid by A/C payee cheque.
The college authority provides free education to poor and needy students.
Moot Court Hall
The college has a contemporary Moot Court Hall, a capacity building for skill development and Law Students Practice trials, in the name of Parth Pratim Goswami to develop advocay skill of the students. The College is also holding Moot Court Competition among them and also by holding State and National level Inter-College moot court competitions.
